~Spring Market is in full Swing!~

What a wonderful start to the Spring Markets! We have been fully enjoying the Portland Saturday Farmer's Market and have now added the Hood River Thursday Farmer's Market! The weather was lovely yesterday at the Hood River Farmer's Market and we enjoyed everyone who came to see us there. We are looking forward to more glorious weather tomorrow at the Portland Saturday Farmer's Market tomorrow and sharing the day with you! Spring has sprung!

Spring has arrived! Not only has this fresh new season brought along sunshine and flowers, it is also accompanied by delicious, unique items specially made by The Market Gourmet!

New Summer Hours

Summer has arrived in Hood River, and that means more weekend tourists and weekend wind chasers.  Hence, our new hours:  Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  So, all you locals and visitors and windsurfers and kiteboarders and breakfasters and lunchers: you can now enjoy tarts on Fridays and Saturdays every week this summer!

Find Us at the Gorge Grown Farmers' Market!

Every Thursday this summer we will have a booth at the Gorge Grown Farmers' Market.  The market is held at the Hood River Middle School from 4 pm to 7 pm.  Come check us out, and be sure to support your community by buying local!!

It's Almost Summer!

Stop by our little shop in Hood River to try our special appetizer platter:  fresh local greens, Hood River pears, candied pecans, Rogue Creamery bleu cheese, and rustic artisan toast.  This week we are also featuring a special salad: mixed greens topped with pears, bleu cheese, toasted hazelnuts, and house-made hazelnut vinaigrette.  Delicious and oh-so summery!  Or, soak up the sun at one of our picnic tables while enjoying a toasty sandwich, tart, or an indulgent slice of Le Luscious Lemon cake!  You deserve it!
